SUMMARY:HPAAC August/September 2026 P1/P2 Course
DESCRIPTION:COURSE IS CURRENTLY FULL AND ACCEPTING WAITLISTS\n\nPrairie par
 agliding will be offing a complete P1/P2 course August 21th-September 7th 
 2026 based in Charlottetown\, PEI and Parrsboro\, Nova Scotia. This is a h
 ybrid course for both students with a P1 and for students with no prior ex
 perience paragliding\, and by the completion of the course students will h
 ave earned their P2 rating allowing them to continue flying independently.
 \n\nThe course will run all day for all of the scheduled days. Depending o
 n weather students should expect ~6 hours training each day as two 3 hour 
 blocks (morning/afternoon and evening) with a long break. The tentative sc
 hedule for the course is:\n\n 	August 21st - 22nd P1 Ground training PEI (
 Mostly for new P1s\, returning P1s can join if they want more refresher)**
 \n 	August 23rd P1 on Hill Training Parrsboro (All students\, refresher fo
 r returning P1s)\n 	August 24th - September 4th P2 training Parrsboro\, Op
 tionally will extend 5-7 for weather etc.\n 	September 5th - 7th P2 flight
 s /w Festival of Flight PEI\n\n** Schedule may be adjusted where needed fo
 r students needing additional ground time\, however\, the needs of all stu
 dents must be considered and adjustment may not be possible.\nThe course w
 ill be based in Charlottetown\, PEI and Parrsboro\, Nova Scotia and will u
 tilize locations in those areas. Students will need to arrange their own t
 ransportation and where applicable\, accommodations.\n\nSpots are limited 
 to 8 to ensure that students get the feedback they need to complete this i
 ntensive course. There is a minimum enrolment of 4 students to make this c
 ourse possible. Priority will be given to maritimes residents.\n\nEquipmen
 t will be provided (students will need to bring their own helmet\, gloves\
 , and appropriate footwear)\, however\, students are strongly encouraged t
 o purchase their own equipment so they can continue flying. A discount wil
 l be offered with purchase of equipment. Students should not purchase any 
 used equipment without consultation with the instructor\, as the used mark
 et is of varying quality and safety.\n\nCost: $2250\n\nIncludes $250 funde
 d by HPAC\n\nPayment:\n\n 	$500 deposit to secure spot\n 	$1000 one month 
 prior\n 	Balance prior to start of the course\n\nDiscounts Available:\n\n 
 	$400 discount if you purchase a Prairie Paragliding beginner package prio
 r to the course. Information on packages will be provided after deposit.\n
  	$300 returning P1 that completed the 2025 HPAAC P1 course with Prairie P
 aragliding.\n\nSign up\n\nPay Deposit\n\nNote: Signing up does not ensure 
 a spot\, only payment of the deposit ensures a spot.\n\nPrairie Paraglidin
 g will accept the first 8 students paying the deposit\, regardless of when
  this form was completed. Should spots subsequently open due to cancellati
 on Prairie Paragliding will contact all waitlisted signups in order receiv
